Betsy del Monte, FAIA, LEED BD+CBetsy del Monte, FAIA, is the Founding Principal of Transform Global. Betsy’s experience and expertise includes high performance building design, sustainable and resilient community design, and fully integrated project delivery.
As a registered architect, Betsy has thirty years of architectural practice and sustainability consulting. As Adjunct Professor at the SMU Lyle School of Engineering, she helped create and teaches a Master of Arts degree in Sustainability and Development. She also serves as the SMU Campus Sustainability Consultant. She was formerly a Principal in Architecture and Director of Sustainability for the Beck Group, a national, integrated firm providing architecture and construction services. Betsy has been named a Fellow by the American Institute of Architects (AIA) and as a Senior Fellow in the Design Futures Council. Betsy received her Bachelor of Science degree in architecture from the University of Virginia and a Master of Architecture degree from Rice University. Her experience includes work at architecture firms in Atlanta and Houston, as well as nine years with Philip Johnson and John Burgee in New York. |

Mary Ann Lazarus, FAIA
Mary Ann Lazarus is a founder of the sustainable design initiative at HOK, a global design firm whose pioneering green leadership has helped propel sustainability from a fringe activity to a significant mainstream movement shaping the future of architecture. She recently served as the Resident Fellow for AIA National on Sustainability and Design for Health.
Mary Ann leads a consultancy focused on accelerating shifts in design of the built environment to sustainable and resilient outcomes. Mary Ann is an Adjunct Faculty at Washington University in St. Louis and also serves on the Advisory Board of the Resilient Design Institute. |
Jim Weiner, LEED Fellow, AIA
Managing Principal Jim Weiner founded Collaborative Project Consulting as the natural progression of a thirty-year career as a design architect & educator. He is a recognized thought leader in architecture & sustainable building in the U.S. & internationally. Green building policy has been shaped by his hands-on work with the U.S. Green Building Council, major utilities, universities and local governments. Jim is an educator & speaker for groups including the American Library Association, Community College Facilities Coalition, UCLA, USC, UCSB, SCIARC, Association of Energy Engineers, American Solar Energy Society, AIA, ASHRAE, Energy Resource Center & the U.S. Green Building Council

Todd Spinks, Ph.D.
Dr. Spinks is the founding principal of S³ Transitions. Previously he was the Director of UNT Sustainability at the University of North Texas. There he catapulted the university from an unknown in sustainability to the #8 nationally ranked university in six years. Prior to UNT, Dr. Spinks worked at the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) as a project manager. He was also the lead social scientist on a national task force with the U.S. State Department that created, implemented, and managed sustainability efforts to support development strategies throughout the developing world.
